Electromechanical Technician

Hidden Level is looking for an Electromechanical Technician to apply their skills and technical experience to help us accelerate production of our cutting-edge technology. This role will help support manufacturing, sustainment, and engineering activities.

As an Electromechanical Technician, you can expect to…

  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally within the organization
  • Utilize technical writing skills to aid in the development of manufacturing processes and work instructions
  • Build and rework multi-wire cable harnesses
  • Perform test and rework of printed circuit boards
  • Perform a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of production schedule
  • Perform modifications, rework and quality testing or inspection as required
  • Support system tests as required

A successful candidate will have…

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
  • High level technical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting systems with the use of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) to include Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Digital Multi-meters
  • Experience soldering components in accordance with J-STD-001
  • Familiarity working in an ESD controlled environment
  • Ability to handle a dynamic work environment with a great multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive internal and external relationships
  • A team focused mentality with interest in positive results
  • Desire to live in Central New York area
  • Salary requirements included with application submission
  • A Drone Pilot License under FAA Part 107, or a willingness to get their license within the first 90 days of employment
  • Minimum of an Associate Science (A.S.) or Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Electronics Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience working in a lab or production environment
